On 21 October we saw Glasgow Rocks VS Sheffield Sharks game. After the victory over the Sharks with 78 points to 61, the Rocks climb on third position on the BBL table, right under Newcastle Eagles.
The victory is an important one because the Sharks were the strongest team in the BBL last season, winning the 2016 playoff final. It is disappointing to see that the Sharks don’t win more games like they did last season. It would have been very nice to see that they keep impressing the fans after their superb victory from last season. However, time is only in their favor now, while they can still wake up and perform at their best. We know we saw a better Sheffield Sharks last season, and keep waiting for them to come back.
So far, Glasgow Rocks have played 5 games in the BBL and won 4 of them. Their only lost game was the one they played against Newcastle Eagles on 2nd October, managing to gather 74 points the entire game. They played with all their might and we’re sure more good games like this one are to come.
