MYLES DAVIS UPDATE: SWITCHING CLASSES?

June 12, 2010 by · 1 Comment

BY JEFF BORZELLO

BRONX, N.Y. – Considering Myles Davis is one of the top 20 or 30 shooting guards in the country, it is likely that it won’t go unnoticed when he plays down an age group.

That was the case on Friday at the Rumble in the Bronx at Fordham University, when Davis decided to suit up for the Playaz U-16 team instead of his normal U-17 team, which is loaded with future high-major players.

“We’re just trying to qualify for the Peach Jam,” Davis said when asked why he was playing with a younger team.

When pressed further, though, Davis revealed that he is considering reclassifying to the class of 2012.
