Tyler Harris

Scouting Reports: July 2010 - Harris continues to develop his all-around offensive game, going from strictly a three-point shooter to a player who can take defenders off the dribble and finish in a variety of ways at the rim. The 6-foot-8 forward from Half Hollow Hills West (N.Y.) is still a terrific three-point shooter when he is in rhythm, but he now looks to drive into the paint more. He has improved his handle and is also getting more involved on the glass (Jeff Borzello at EYBL Peach Jam).

July 2009 - Tobias’ younger brother showed a better stroke than I saw from him at the St. John’s Elite Camp on Wednesday, and demonstrated his range. He also pump-faked defenders who didn’t respect his dribble-drive enough. Tyler could use some work on this quickness and explosiveness, the same area that has transformed his older brother to among the handful of elite players in the 2010 class. On the other side of the ball, he is a good defender because of his length (Jeff Borzello at Hoop Group Elite Camp)
