Shane Larkin

Scouting Reports: July 2010 - Larkin is far more than just former major league basketball great Barry Larkin’s son and is underrated on a national level by many, but that could end as he has been a key figure in helping the Showtime Ballers into the Super Showcase Gold quarters. Though undersized at the one, Larkin is quick and gets to the cup, passes well and has good floor vision. Possessing a good build, nice athleticism, quality body control in the air, a superb handle, and the ability to shoot the ball, there is not much Larkin can not do with the rock. He is also adept at getting to the charity stripe, and once there he generally hits his freebies. His most impressive play came at the end of the third quarter when his team inbounded the ball under its own hoop and he caught it near halfcourt, hoisted a shot and swished it (Alex Schwartz at AAU Super Showcase).
