Scouting Reports: May 2010 - Thomas’s biggest asset is his versatility and ability to play multiple positions. He is a long forward who can post up down low or handle the ball on the perimeter. Thomas can pass effectively and find teammates for baskets. He also has very good leaping ability and runs the floor very well, finishing at the rim in transition or in the halfcourt. Defensively, he is tough because of his length and versatility. Put simply, Thomas is a difficult match-up for opponents (Jeff Borzello at Southern Jam Fest).
February 2010 - The most obvious thing one notices about the 6-foot-8 Thomas is his extreme length and athleticism. He uses that to get finishes at the rim in transition and also make plays on the defensive end. Thomas is extremely active at that end of the floor, creating deflections and turnovers. Offensively, the lefty showed that he has a nice mid-range pull-up jumper and a decent step-back jump shot as well (Jeff Borzello at National Christian Academy Classic).
