Myles Davis

Scouting Reports:
Nov 2010 – Davis was one of the more impressive players in the early games of day one. Known as a shooter for much of his career, Davis is expanding his game in a major way. He can now get to the cup off the dribble, and has vastly improved court vision and ball-handling ability. Davis has the ability to play the point guard position and find teammates for baskets. Of course, he still has the deep range that made him such a coveted prospect in the first place (Jeff Borzello at National Prep Showcase).

June 2009 - Myles was dominant in the contest for the Playaz we watched on Saturday. He had his shot really working from the outside. He knocked down three from beyond the arc, including one of the pull up variety. He followed that up with a runner in the lane before hitting another three-pointer. Myles is good at attacking off the dribble too. He finished or drew fouls on several occasions. He is quite the talented young guard (Brian Crownover at Rumble in the Bronx).

July 2008 - Davis is a talented player, but he rarely comes out and really takes over a game like he has shown flashes of. He can do a little of everything, but is at his best when he is being aggressive offensively, knocking down jumpers from the mid-range and from behind the three-point line. He can get hot from beyond the arc and has a quick release, making it difficult to block. At times, he takes the ball into the lane with no true destination (Jeff Borzello at Joe Brown Memorial).
