Kyle Anderson

Scouting Reports: April 2010 - Anderson has ball skills including an inside out pull dribble move that more than one defender looked silly trying to deal with. Really good vision and passes very well. Got in deep and either scored from within 8 feet or found a teammate for a layup or wide-open jumper. Looks to be still growing and has a great feel for the game. Gets his hands on loose balls and blocks some shots because of his length. Isn’t fast enough to defend on the perimeter effectively which is why he’ll eventually be a ball handling forward imho. Very high ceiling, tremendous upside. Rebounds well. If he can consistently add the three-point shot — he can hit it — he’ll move from being a monster matchup nightmare to a regular old horror flick for opponents (Ray Mernagh at Pittsburgh Jam fest).

April 2010 – When we first saw Anderson a few years ago, he was a quiet 6-5 guard who had just finished eighth grade. Now, he is 6-8 and is one of the best inside-outside players in his class. Anderson mainly ran the point for the Playaz, and he has really increased his speed and quickness. Another out of Paterson (NJ) Catholic, Anderson has a good handle and can take most defenders to the rim due to his size and ability to change speeds. He tends to force things at times, but if he develops a jumper, LOOK OUT! (Jeff Borzello at Boo Williams).
