Scouting Reports: June 2011 – Dingle is a 6’6” combo forward who has a very unique skill set. He can defend both the perimeter and the post with equal effectiveness which allows coaches to play him all over the floor in all kinds of lineups without losing anything defensively. On the offensive end Dingle does a little bit of everything but his strongest skill at this point in his development is clearly his passing. He has terrific vision and is able to make passes that rival most point guards which really opens the floor for his team. Dingle needs to work on his perimeter jumper to further advance his offensive game. He can knock down shots but lacks consistency and will really open up his potent dribble drive game if he becomes a knock down shooter (Brian Bosworth at Rumble in the Bronx).
Dec 2010 – Dingle showed off his versatility on Friday, hitting perimeter shots and also getting rebounds and buckets around the rim. He was active on the offensive glass, but was out of control on several occasions when driving to the basket. He also demonstrated decent passing ability with a couple of dimes to teammates. Dingle is a smart player and is productive, but could have done more if he had not committed a few turnovers (Jeff Borzello at Gonzaga DC Classic).
