Scouting Reports: July 2010 – A powerfully built forward who most consider a wing but I’ll call him a combo because he can do so much damage in the paint area. Nash always plays at his own pace and owns an efficient/effective game. He appears to be a man playing against boys most of the time, especially when he penetrates the lane or gains possession of the ball in it — the result is most times an explosion to the rim that ends violently for the rim and anyone that happens to get in his way. Nash also showed the ability to shoot the perimeter shot and will be as good as he wants to be. Physically he’s just so mature at 6-foot-7 and north of 220 pounds (Ray Mernagh at Adidas Invitational).
