Kyle Wiltjer

Scouting Report: July 2010 — The Soldiers’ guards did not play well on Wednesday, but Wiltjer kept them in it against the St. Louis Eagles. He constantly posted up, utilizing a lefty jump hook and face-up jumper to score points. He had a reputation for being soft, but he has since shed that label, and will continue to dispel that notion if he plays like he did on Wednesday. He is tough to guard because of his inside-outside ability, and his toughness is increasing (Jeff Borzello at Nike EYBL Peach Jam)

July 2009 — Wiltjer is going to be excellent offensively at the next level. He has great size for his position, as he plays on the wing and has a versatile offensive game. He can be a face-up four-man or even transition to the three if necessary. Wiltjer is a very good three-point shooter who can also run the floor and finish at the basket. He can also post-up smaller defenders and get points in the lane (Jeff Borzello at Peach Jam)
