Scouting Reports: April 2010 – Rivers is capable of putting up eye-popping performances, but he’s also capable of struggling offensively – like he did against Team Final on Friday. His outside shot wasn’t falling early, and he was struggling to penetrate and finish against the Team Final zone defense. In the second half, he started making shots when Final went to a man-to-man defense, but Mike Gilchrist quickly switched over and stymied Rivers. The most impressive things about Rivers are his body control and his low dribble that allows him to change directions and beat defenders (Jeff Borzello at EYBL Boo Williams).
