Scouting Reports:
-May 2009: Another guy with upside coming out his ears is Tony Wroten Jr. who also traveled from the Emerald City to the cornfields with Seattle Rotary. The general consensus was that Wroten would benefit from playing with Josh Smith which is very true. The straight facts are though, that he can flat out score even if he had me (checking in at 5-8 165 lbs.) as his best post man. He does one thing all good scorers do and that is shoot a whole heck of a lot, but he can put up points in bunches and in several different ways. His outside shot is pretty consistent and he is as complete of an athlete as you’ll find. Defensively he could become a lot better fundamentally but his length causes havoc, especially in the passing lanes. When that happens the scorekeeper can chalk up 2 w/out watching because Wroten is a teriffic finisher. (Doug Ferguson at Hensley Memorial Run ‘N Slam).
