Vincent Council

Scouting Reports:
February 2009 – The 6-2 point guard is a very good all-around player that can play both guard positions and do a little of everything. He is fast and shifty with the ball and can take defenders off the dribble. He can push the ball in the fast break and finishes well around the rim, taking contact and still getting the ball in the basket. He can shoot the three, but is very effective in making mid-range jumpers inside the arc, and around the foul-line area. He has very good vision and can pass the ball to the open man well. Council made several passed to jumpstart transition baskets. He is much more aggressive than he was during the summer with his AAU team. He doesn’t always make the best decisions and is out of control at times, though. Defensively, he is aggressive and can pick up steals. Council finished with 17 points, nine assists and five turnovers (Jeff Borzello at HoopHall Classic).
