NBE BIG EAST POWER POLL (12/7/2009)

For the third consecutive poll, the team with the most 1st place votes does not finish in the top spot. Actually, West Virginia, with the most 1st place votes, finishes third in this week’s poll. Villanova returns to the top spot after their win over Maryland last night in the BB&T Classic in DC. Syracuse also slips in front of WVU as all three teams are neck and neck. Louisville gets hammered as they lost at home by 22 points with three of their top four guards missing against UNC-C because of injuries. Seton Hall also creeps up in this week’s voting.
