BIG EAST RECRUITING UPDATE: SOUTH FLORIDA

Verbal Commitment Alert: Jarrid Famous, 6′11 C from Westchester (NY) CC.

Juniors: Dominique Jones (SG), Jarrid Famous (C)
Sophomores: Eladio Espinosa (F), Juston Leemow (G), Augustus Gilchrist (C), *Anthony Crater (PG)
Freshmen: Shaun Noriega (G), Jordan Dumars (F), Mike Burwell (SG)

* Anthony Crater is a mid-year transfer and will be eligible in December of 2009.

South Florida head coach Stan Heath has been on a mission this spring to add depth and production to the Bulls’ front court. It looks as the Bulls might have pulled off a mini recruiting coup as word is Jarrid Famous Commits to South Florida (ZagsBlog.net) over Missouri, Seton Hall and Arizona, where the 6′11 JUCO center visited last weekend.
