March Madness is a fun time and by now everyone has probably lost track of how many pools they have entered and who they picked when and where.

Well, the NBE Basketall Report is going to add one more opportunity for everyone to make their picks and see how they stack up against the NBE Blogger, other readers and people from all over the world.

The contest is free to join and the winner will walk away with free tickets (up to $750 value) to any sporting event that RazorGator has tickets for in the next year.

This contest is different from all the others. Make sure you read the rules (more info below as well) and follow along. You pick day by day, round by round, not all at once, so one bad day or round will not hurt you.

A few other notes on this pool…you can only pick first round games at this time. The picks are made ‘against the spread.’ For example…Pitt (-20) vs. ETSU. If you choose Pitt, you are picking the Panthers to win BY MORE THAN 20.

You get a set amount of points for each correct pick in round one, pick all 32 games. Then, round 2 match-ups will be available after to pick once the point spreads and match-ups are available, so even if you missed games in round 1, you can jump in the action in round 2.

Navigating the picks are still a little tricky, they are working on the ‘user-friendliness’ of the site. For now, after you register and/or sign-in, visit the ‘Madness’ page and select one game to ‘pick’. You will see the match-up and some user comments, choose your ‘winner’ against the spread and submit the pick. Then, all the other match-ups from THAT DAY are above in a scroll bar, pick another match-up and select your winner. You will then have to go back to the Madness page after you pick the winner of the 16 NCAA games for that day and find a match-up for another day and do the same thing. A little more tedious than your normal NCAA pool on-line, but it is getting better as they work out the bugs.

It is new, and I think if your dedicated to following this thing through to the end, the odds of winning the prize of tickets to any RazorGator posted sporting event in the next year will be pretty good as far as these pools go because this is a new contest on a new website.
