DC Assault guard looks to land in ACC or Big East for college
by Brian Crownover
Last week, I crossed paths with numerous talented prospects from all over the map. In my journey, one of the most impressive players that I encountered was super talented guard Rashad Whack from Bishop McNamara in Maryland.

Rashad is a silky smooth scorer who can light it up. He’s quick off the dribble and can get into the lane. He plays very fast and can run the floor. He has a quick crossover move. Rashad is an a very strong shooter from the perimeter. He can pull up off the dribble and has a fall away
jumper that is nearly impossible to stop.
Prior to the Hoop Group Elite Team Camp, Rashad had already attracted plenty of interest. The gifted guard already has offers from mid major programs such as George Mason, Virginia Commonwealth and Richmond. While he’s happy with those teams being involved, Rashad told us, “I’m looking to go higher. I want to play in the Big East or ACC.”
So far, Big East programs Marquette and Georgetown are giving Rashad a look. Providence was on hand for this fine performance and will likely get heavily involved. Rashad travels in the summer with the DC Assault AAU program which will be in Las Vegas next week for the Adidas Super 64 Tournament.
If last week was any indication, look for Rashad to wind up in the Big East or ACC.
